Jeff Ye, a well-known collector, connoisseur, and entrepreneur. Mr Ye Lingyu (Jeff Ye) was born in December 1973 in Guangxi, China. He is a senior engineer, Doctor of Business Administration, antique collector, and international scholar of art assets. He comes from the Ye family of collectors in the eastern United States and owns the 'Yuyu Pavilion.' The family’s ancient jade collection spans the most important golden age periods and main styles of ancient Chinese jade artefacts. Dr Ye has a background in environmental engineering and earned a PhD in business administration overseas at the School of Economics and Management, Peking University. His collecting career spans over thirty years, starting with contemporary art and later focusing on porcelain, jade, glassware, and bronzes. With his chemistry expertise, he overcame the limits of traditional 'eye studies' and created the 'Ye Standard' for ancient jade authentication, covering 20 techniques, combining aesthetics, historical logic, microscopic observation, and instrumental testing, stressing 'letting the collections speak,' 'using physical evidence to prove history,' and 'benchmarking against museums.' From 'intuition and art' to 'scientific verification and civilised responsibility.' As a founding member of the International Art Asset Research Institute, he works to promote Eastern art in the Western mainstream, placing collections that hold the memory of Chinese civilisation alongside the world’s top museums. In business, collectibles, and technology, Mr Ye Lingyu currently holds these roles: 1. Co-chair of the Europe-Americas-China Investment Promotion Committee and Chairman of the New York Branch. The association’s legal rep is the former CEO of Apple, and the founder is Jacky Zhang, China’s leading AI investment figure, who also advises on investments for 90 Chinese cities and promotes China-US opportunities. 2. Dean of the BIBS School of Chinese Arts and Studies at Boston International Business School, teaching collection and appreciation of ancient Chinese art. 3. Long-term sponsor of the public welfare project 'Telling Our Story Well - China-US Cultural Lecture Hall of 100,' supporting major overseas Chinese community film and cultural activities, including 'Main Street' and 'Lilies in the Cracks.' 4.
